I tried to get my child to try on some of his lovely KU gear and get pictures last night but he was in a mood. I will try again tonight. We'll see;) If you insist on seeing the pictures I did get I will post them but I am warning you...they aren't pretty!

He is now starting to laugh every time I laugh. He is a goof ball! He had no choice really. His father and I are both pretty goofy. He will be 2 months old tomorrow! I cannot believe how fast it goes by. Oct.6 he goes to the doctor and we will find out how much he has grown. He also will get his MMR shots:( I hope he doesn't cry too much. That just breaks my heart!

Watching football with Grandpa

Austin had his first sleep-over this Saturday. Mom and Dad needed a weekend with grown-ups to watch the Auburn game and grill out. He did great! He hung out with Grandpa, Grandma and Uncle Kevin and had a blast. That is until 9:30pm when he passed out and slept soundly until 7:30am the next morning! He slept better than I did! I was up every hour wondering what he was doing;) Such a good baby!!!

We are now downing 6oz every 3-4 hours (except at night when he sleeps 6-7 hours) and can fit into a 3month outfit! You would never know that this long chunky baby was ever too tiny for newborn sizes!!!

Fall is here

It's starting to get chilly outside. I love Fall in the South. It's not too cold and the tree's are beautiful colors. It also helps that I am spoiled with a husband that cooks wonderful things like chili and chicken and dumplings and beef stew and...I am getting hungry just thinking about it! I am going to have to control myself this year though. I am on a mission to loose all of my baby fat by the end of the year!

Missing him more than usual today! He was so sweet and cuddly this morning that I didn't want to leave him. I am so fortunate to be able to leave him with Keith's mother and sister. You can't ask for better child care! Still sometimes I contemplate sneaking him into the office;)

Last night Keith and I were putting Little Bit in his crib for the night. After I laid him down in his sleep postioner Keith commented that it was starting to look a little tight on him. As we were discussing this Austin's legs shot straight out and pushed out the loudest fart I've ever heard! We were trying so hard not to laugh and wake him up that I started crying.

The Pictures Aunt Manda took

While in Bama Manda took some pics of Austin in the NICU. He was 5lbs15oz and 19 1/2 in long. Born on my birthday 07/30/2008. When I brought him home a week later he was only 5lbs8oz. However, he has become quite the little piggy and is now 9 lbs and 22in long!!! My how they grow. He is such a good baby. Keith and I have become spoiled!
