Man!

KU?!? They are the only Final four pick that I missed. That bumped me down to 10th place! I hate it when basketball season is over. I am really proud of those guys though. They went further than anyone thought (except me...I had them going all the way) Oh well. Maybe next year. Now it's time to enjoy the spring and summer before football season rolls back around. Then we will all be sporting our Orange and Blue!

Long day

We were all very tired last night. Austin and Keith could barely hold there heads up! Austin has been spending a lot of time outside during the day and he plays hard. By the time we get him home he is all tuckered out. He fights it but the sleepiness always wins out. i guess he just doesn't want to miss anything! He definitely has the Petty clan's energy.

Moving at high speeds

Austin has been "running" in his "walker" at full speed. It is strengthening his legs and wears him out before bedtime. Libby will pretty much escape upstairs but Keith and I love to watch him go!

Now that round 1 and 2 is over we can play for the rest of the day.

So far I've only missed 3!

For the past 2 years I have had perfect first rounds but I have never won the entire bracket. This year I have missed 3 so far and if KU doesn't show up I may have just donated $5 to someone. Last night Austin had little patience for basketball. He wanted me to play with him instead. Today KU plays in the afternoon so I can watch it at my desk. Maybe when he's older he will watch the games with as much excitement as I do. Until then Daddy will have to take over play time for March madness games;) By the way Austin is decked out in his KU gear today. I will get pictures for the blog!

Brackets

We filled out our brackets and are ready for the madness. Daddy doesn't understand the hoopla but he did have KU going far just for me and Austin;) I hope they do well or these brackets will loose their excitement.

Our weekend visitors

Alana and Jack came to visit this weekend! Keith and Jack got to do manly things while Austin took a well needed nap.

We play hard around here!

Austin will play until he can't even keep his eyes open. He fights sleep so bad! He is so afraid that he is going to miss something. When he finally passes out he will sleep just as hard as he played. Then he is up and ready for round 2!

My boys

I don't think we will be able to get Austin to wear clothes ever again! This kid loves to be naked. I sure hope he grows out of it before he starts school or I am going to be spending a lot of time with the principal and school counselor;)

Peek-a-boo

Oh, when life was simple! When a good game of peek-a-boo would take away all of your worries. Isn't the life of a 7 month old great? Austin has a talent for entertaining himself and everyone else! Wish I was playing with him now instead of at work!

Our busy weekend

Anyone see a pattern here? I think he and Libby are on the same schedule...eat, play and pass out.
