To have the energy of a child...
Austin can't sit still and watch his movies! He paces around the T.V, sits for a second then gets back up and plays with his toys while watching at the same time. He mostly does this when he's fighting a nap. He knows if he sits down too long he will fall asleep. I get exhausted just watching him. What I'd give to take a nap! Every few minutes he will look over at me to make sure that I am still there with him. He's a social butterfly and hates to watch movies or play alone. I know that if I get up to go do something he and Libby will be right on my heels! Oh, by the way we officially have 4 teeth and running and talking constantly! Don't know where he gets that from;)

Football season!!!
College football has begun. So far Auburn has been doing very well. Austin doesn't really understand any of it yet but he gets excited anyway. This past weekend Matt joined us for football and grilling out. Austin of course thought he was there for him, but we won't tell him any different. We had a lot of fun and will do it all again next weekend! I would love to take Austin up to Lawrence for a KU game when basketball season begins so he can see what it's all about.
Hey Mom! Give me that football! War Eagle! What's in your sippy cup Uncle Matt?

Never forget
It's hard to believe that it has been 8 years already. I will never forget where I was when it happened. I feel so blessed to be an American. This was the first attack on our soil since Pearl Harbor. Just think that other countries have things like this happen everyday! God bless America and the men and women that defend it!

We allow Austin to get into the Koozie and Tuperware drawer in the kitchen. This keeps him occupied, safe and in our sites while we are preparing meals. Plus, he likes to feel apart of what we are doing. However, you have to be careful not to break your neck because he can't just get out one or two, but he grabs each one (there's about 50) and gives it a good toss in the air. They say "if your going to do something you'd might as well do it 100%". Austin takes this quite seriously...Oh, by the way his two top teeth have come in! I will try to get pictures tonight.

Tractors and dinosaur pjs
The boys let mommy sleep in Saturday morning because she wasn't feeling very good. They went downstairs and played in their pj's. Like father like son...

This kid is into EVERYTHING! This was his "innocent" face right before he opened the coffee table drawer and threw all of its contents out.And he's off...Right here he just picked up Libby's bone and stuck it in her mouth. He has already learned about sharing;)He got too big for his britches and bumped his head on one of the bar stools. He was fine but he was also tired so the tears were big.
