Jammies

There's nothing sweeter than a baby in jammies! Now that we have added cereal to our diet we are taking longer, better naps during the day. I read that babies his age are supposed to get at least 15 hours of sleep a day. He sleeps through the night but didn't usually take good naps. This morning he woke up to eat breakfast and was ready to play! He normally will go back to sleep while Keith and I get ready for work. Not today. We put him in his bath chair up on the bath room counter. As I was getting ready for work he told me all about it. I am not sure what "it" was but he just yapped non-stop until it was time to go. I don't know where he got that trait from;) Needless to say he passed out in the car on the way to Gagaw and Dude Buddy's house. I wonder what adventures he will have today? Maybe it will snow!

Austin's new best friend

When Mom came to visit she brought a gift from Robin from her office (thank you Robin!). In it was this giraffe which we have named Mojo. Austin loves him and cuddles with him often. He is a great cuddlier too. I am very jealous of Mojo!

Christmas decorating

Baby's first Christmas! Next year we will move all of the ornaments up a couple of feet;)

I found these pictures of me and Uncle Dan in Pop's furry brown chair. My son definitely gets his sleeping habits from me;) Man, I wish I could take a nap like that right now!

Growing boy

Yesterday was Austin's 4 month appointment. He had to have 4 shots! He wasn't happy about it and was clingy and very tired for the rest of the day. He is now 15lbs5oz and 2ft1in. We get to start cereal and baby food now. Needless to say I will have some great pictures soon;)

Libby Dog

This morning when I was trying to get Austin ready and out the door I put a loaf of bread on the bench in the foyer so not to forget to take it to work. I came down with the little man to find only a little piece of a bag that resembled that of my loaf of bread. I looked over and saw Libby licking her chops. I scolded her and Austin started to clap and laugh. He thinks it's funny when it's someone else in trouble;) We'll see how funny it is when it's him getting scolded one day. Austin has his 4 month appointment tomorrow and will have to get 5 shots! He won't be clapping and laughing about that. I am taking the day off so I can comfort him and watch for any fevers. I will give everyone the update on what the Doc says.

Busy weekend

Well, for starters our cat came back shortly after Mom and Denny headed back home (hope she's not knocked up). Austin turned 4 months old yesterday and Keith is going to be gone ALL week in Nashville for work:( Austin is teething big time and is fussier than usual...pray for me;)
