Austin had his 2 month appointment yesterday. He had to get 4 shots! He was doing great at first and even smiling and laughing at the nurse. Then they started to hurt. He looked at me with that bottom lip out like I had just ruined his world. Lucky for my heart he got over it pretty quick! Unfortunately, he has to go back in December and do it all over again! I may make dad take him to that one. Oh, by the way he is 12lbs3oz, and 23in long.Tuesday, October 7, 2008
Shots

Is it my imagination or is his hair getting slightly red? Those shots always made my babies not feel good for a couple of days. Hang in there. Maybe daddy could handle the shots and maybe not. I vote not.

His hair does have some red in it. You are probably right about daddy not being able to do shots. He couldn't even watch them put my IV in at the hospital;) Oh well, I guess mommy will have to be the one who takes him to get tortured at the drs office!
He is soooo precious! I hated when they got their shots I would always end up crying with them. Oh and yeah that hair has some red in it.
Did I tell you how much I appreciate the pictures? If we can't have you to talk to and the baby to hold, having new pictures sure cuts the ache. Babies are just little people and need to be protected by having their shots. It is a pain for a little while but in the long run it has really cut the really bad diseases down. Just so you know, your love for Austin shows. MUD
