It is supposed to get up to 70 today! I wish it would just stay that way, but unfortunately I think it's going to get cold again. I am ready for pool weather! Yesterday little man was up on all fours trying to figure out what to do next to move forward. He just swayed front to back until he was too tired to keep trying. I have a feeling that he will be crawling with a week. Watch out world! Hope you guys in Kansas are ready for him;) He will be into EVERYTHING he can reach! I just hope we can keep up with him. The kid doesn't even stay still when he's eating and sleeping! He gets that from his father.
Our pediatrician was a little concerned of a lazy eye. We went to the eye doctor yesterday to make sure that his vision is normal and the muscles behind them are developing at the same rate. The eye doctor said his eyes are perfect! They had to dilate his eyes and try to hold him still while performing the eye exam. Needless to say it made for a long and stressful day.
He said Mama yesterday!!! Keith says it doesn't count because he doesn't understand what it means. What does he know! He said Mama! It's odd because most babies say Dadda first. Austin was so cute last night. He would hug me and bury his head in me and say "Mamamamama". I know I am so excited now and later when he's older and says "Mom...mom...mom..." it's going to drive me nuts;)

This weekend I went out with the girls and Ty came over for "Boys Weekend" with Keith and Austin. The only girl aloud was Libby;) They had a great time. Libby and Austin fought over Tyler's attention. He did a great job of satisfying them both. The boys planned on staying up late to watch movies but shortly after the spicy pork chops and dirty rice Keith found Ty passed out on the couch. This was probably due to the four wheeling he did that morning. All of them were covered head to toe in mud with huge smiles on their faces. Of course Austin did not participate in this part of boys weekend. He gets wild enough in his walker!
Still no teeth! He drools and chews like crazy though. I tried to get pictures this morning of the 6 deer (doe) in my front yard but was unsuccessful. We have a ton of them out here and they don't seem that skittish around people or Libby for that matter. I have only seen a couple of buck. Libby stays clear of those big boys! Austin and I are slowly getting over this crud. We have the humidifiers going and are getting plenty of fluids. This weather makes it hard to recover. Tomorrow the high is 63 and the low is 30! Hope everyone is taking their vitamins and staying warm.
Whatever has been going around finally got to me. I was very sick yesterday and stayed in bed. My fever spiked at 102 but luckily came back down this morning to 99.9. I am feeling a little better but still feel like I am swallowing razor blades. I am so lucky to have Keith to help with Austin! I don't know how you single parents do it?! Austin is getting over what he had but I am so scared that he can still get my germs. We will be popping vitamin C like crazy.

He is a good replacement for lifting weights. He was in such a good mood last night that we played instead of doing things that needed to be done like clean the kitchen, laundry, taxes you know boring adult stuff.
It is not fair to ask of others what you are unwilling to do yourself. Eleanor Roosevelt
America will never be destroyed from the outside. If we falter and lose our freedoms, it is because we destroyed ourselves.

You have enemies? Good. That means you've stood up for something, sometime in your life. Winston Churchill
Governments tend not to solve problems, only to rearrange them. Ronald Reagan
Let us never forget that government is ourselves and not an alien power over us. The ultimate rulers of our democracy are not a President and senators and congressmen and government officials, but the voters of this country. Franklin D. Roosevelt
